What is a Hold Me Tight® Workshop?
Hold Me Tight® is an evidence-based intensive educational workshop developed by Sue Johnson Ed.D designed to help couples connect on a deeper level at any stage of their relationship.
Using a combination of didactic teaching, video presentations, and experiential exercises, couples will learn tools for creating and maintaining a loving connection.

Is a Hold Me Tight® Workshop right for us?
Couples come to Hold Me Tight Workshops for many reasons. Your relationship does not need to be in acute distress for you to see benefits. Here are some of the reasons couples may choose a workshop:

When should we choose a different therapy instead of Hold Me Tight®?
During this program, you will get some 1:1 guidance. However, I will be dividing my time between all the participants. If your relationship is in acute distress, for example, if you are still raw from a recent hurt, or one of you has an untreated active addiction, you may benefit most from individualized treatment.

What happens in a Hold Me Tight® Workshop?
This online small group workshop is based on Hold Me Tight: Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love. This course is designed to guide you through each of those conversations with a multimedia approach.
Through a combination of educational videos, written exercises, and 1:1 support, you will have conversations with your partner in a whole new way and get to know them on a level you never have before (even if you've been together for a long time).
This is a structured approach, so you will know exactly what you need to do for each exercise-no guesswork required.
I run the workshops with a small group of 3-5 other couples for the educational component. However, the conversations between you and your partner will be completely separate from the other group members in a private breakout room. There will be no requirement for you to share personal information in the group setting.

When and where do workshops happen?
I run these online workshops 4-5 times per year. The workshop material is divided into eight 2-hour sessions held twice weekly for four weeks.
I ask that you sign up for the workshop when you know you can make all the sessions, as each session builds upon the previous one, and I cannot offer makeups for missed meetings.
At this time, all of the workshops will be held online on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm for four weeks with 3 to 5 couples.
What is the cost of the workshop?
The fee for this workshop is $800 per couple and must be paid in full to hold your slot.
I accept Venmo, Zelle, bank transfers, and checks for payment.
Cancellation policy: If you cancel up to 2 weeks before the workshop, you will be refunded in full minus a $150 administration fee. Cancellations within two weeks of the workshop are non-refundable. If I need to cancel a workshop for some reason beyond my control, I will refund your full fee.
